Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Negombo

  1. Relax by the beach after arrival
  2. Muthurajawela Wetlands boat safari (spot crocodiles, birds, and monkeys)
  3. Overnight stay in Negombo

Day 2: Negombo → Wilpattu National Park

  1. Scenic drive to Wilpattu
  2. Afternoon game drive in Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest park
  3. Overnight stay in a wildlife lodge near Wilpattu

Day 3: Full Day Safari – Wilpattu National Park

  1. Full-day safari with picnic lunch (look for leopards, sloth bears, and jungle cats)
  2. Campfire dinner
  3. Overnight stay at Wilpattu camp

Day 4: Wilpattu → Trincomalee

  1. Transfer to the East Coast
  2. Visit Fort Frederick and Koneswaram Temple
