Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo → Negombo

  1. Meet and assist on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
  2. Transfer to Negombo.
  3. Visit Muthurajawela Wetlands for a scenic boat safari through the mangroves.
  4. Relax on Negombo Beach.
  5. Overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.


Day 2: Negombo → Dambadeniya → Panduwasnuwara → Yapahuwa

  1. Depart for Dambadeniya, the 13th-century capital of Sri Lanka.
  2. Explore the ruins of the royal palace complex and the Old Temple of the Tooth.
  3. Continue to Panduwasnuwara, an ancient kingdom with remnants of palaces, monasteries, and a unique circular relic house (Vatadage).
  4. Proceed to Yapahuwa, a majestic rock fortress and short-lived medieval capital.
  5. Climb to the summit to admire the intricately carved ornamental stairway and panoramic views.

Day 3: Yapahuwa → Sigiriya

  1. Transfer to Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  2. Climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the evening light.

Day 4: Sigiriya → Polonnaruwa → Sigiriya
